Hi to all,
We have been hosting students from around the world for approximately 25 years. Our family consists of Rick, Tammy along with Lucy, our very friendly dog.....Both my husband and myself are retired. We have a very large house and a very comfortable life style. When students come and live at our house, they become part of the family. We have hosted students from the age of 8 years old up to the age of 73 years old. Some students come to attend school and others have come here to work. We have had many returning students and some students that have been with us for over 10 years. We have a variety of different meals and we are very aware of food allergies and food dislikes. If you are interested in cooking your own meals and only want to rent a room, that is possible as well. We have a second full kitchen downstairs. As stated, our home is very comfortable, we love to laugh, we love to learn and we love to enjoy life. We have wireless internet, 3 televisions, and much more. We are approximately a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and a 12 -15 minute drive to downtown. We also live next to a bicycle trail that runs right to downtown, so if you are interested in riding a bicycle to school, this is a perfect place to ride from.
