Fast, free internet access. I have enjoyed hosting International Students since 2000 in my lovely 2 bedroom home across from UVic, a 10 minute bus ride to Camosun College and 20 minutes to downtown. As I have lived/visited 45 countries I know what it feels like to arrive in an unfamiliar country and I will help you get settled.
Laundry facilities, laundry detergent, towels, soap, bed linens (pillows/sheets/duvet) and fast wifi are all included in this price. There are no hidden fees. Your bedroom has sliding doors onto the deck making a bright, warm environment with a bed, closet, dresser, desk, chair, lamp, ceiling light, hair dryer. My home is also perfume-free.
I work from home as a metal smith who makes and markets jewellery. works out at the gym, spends time with friends and other activities. I am looking for a student who is capable of shopping for their own food, cooking their own meals and basically looking after themselves. I am available to help and teach.
My house rules are respect each other, no smoking, and clean up after yourself. Currently I have a student who will be leaving at the end of December...not sure what date and can follow up with you.
Please note that my location is across the street from UVic, a 2 minute walk to UVic property. Placement on the map is incorrect and I don't live in Cadboro Bay. The two photos of bedroom are your room. My room is not shown.
