We welcome you to stay in our beautiful home. This is a good homestay for a quiet, responsible, independent ESL and college student. This is a good homestay for someone who enjoys living in a beautiful neighbourhood with easy access to the ocean, shopping and downtown.
Our home is finely furnished. Your South facing bedroom includes an organic queen size bed, quality linens, a desk and chair, a vanity mirror, and an armoire for your clothing. Adjacent to your bedroom you have your own seating area with a couch, tv, and view of the backyard.
We live very close to the ocean, shopping, beautiful Beacon Hill Park and schools. We are only a 15 minute walk to Downtown Victoria. There are walking and running trails along the sea, as well as, bike trails with stunning oceanfront views.
There is a bus stop right beside our house. We are an 8 minute bus ride to downtown Victoria (shopping and site seeing), 20 minute bus ride to University of Victoria and a 20 minute bus ride to the Camosun College and Pacific Design Academy.
We live a 5 minute walk to Cook Street Village, as well as, a shopping centre with restaurants, a pub, grocery store, pharmacy, bank and clothing stores.
There are tennis courts and lawn bowling a short distance from the house. A recreation centre with an indoor ice rink, a swimming pool, workout gym and public library are 10 minutes on the bus.
